It stands not far from the main road that leads to Grosseto.
It was rebuilt between 1134 and 1140 and consecrated by Mauro, bishop of Arezzo as inscription on the front side of the Church. In 1170 he was part of the fiefdom of the Counts of Tinkle and in 1462 it passed to the diocese of Montalcino. I am very clear that the interventions have been in various reconstructions and renovations. Of the original three aisles only the central one is still well preserved, a small window with an apse and a tower of the eighteenth century.
The facade shows the top entry that refers to the rededication of the church avenuta in the first half of the twelfth century. He is currently in private ownership with the obligation to preserve it as a church.
